we’ll tour the vineyards and sample the wines, including sublime Barolos
and Barbarescos, with the winery owner, Pio Boffa. In Southern Tuscany, we’ll
expore the region of Brunello di Montalcino where we find Il Poggione, one of
the area’s great estates. For nearly 100 years, Il Poggione has been crafting
its wines, some of the best expressions of the native Sangiovese grape anywhere.
We’ll sample those wines, learn of the history of the estate, and cap it
all off with an incredible six-course luncheon pairing the wines of Il Poggione
to the cuisine of the region. |

of wine tasting, visit KJ’s incredible sensory garden, learn of the challenges
of growing grapes, and match some of the rewards the grapes provide with the
terrific cuisine of Santa Rosa’s Café Lolo. It’s a day in Sonoma

wine venture for you-the Seven Peak winery with vineyards in Paso Robles and
the Edna Valley. The wines are excellent, with roots in California, but a winemaker
whose heart remains in South Australia. It’s a powerful and winning combination! |
